Don Bosco Tech Started in Maligaon Centre in February 2013 under the leadership of Fr. Benny Alex (Director) with Automobile and Electrical Domain. In the 3rd batch another domain was added that is ISMO (Tailoring). The centre is running well with very good training infrastructure, where the trainees learn well to work in their respective domain.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

Don Bosco Tech Maligaon Centre organized Graduation day on 27th March 2021 for Batch 4 & 5 of ITC East 2020-21. The guest for the occasion was Fr. Amit Tete, The Assistant Director of the institution. The program started with a welcome song by the Automobile trainees, followed by a speech by Mr. Ubaeyd Ullah, the automobile trainer of Maligaon Centre. Auto service technician Industrial Visit

On January 22nd, 2021, a field trip to Royal Riders which is located in Garchuk, Guwahati was conducted for the Auto service technician. 17 trainees participated in this event under the ITC East 2020-21 batch 5.   Royal Rider is a workshop as well as a showroom for Bikes. They provide sales, service, and parts to the customers around Guwahati city. There are 10 service engineers and 25 technicians in the workshop who are fully skilled in their specific areas. On 17th March 2021, Mr. Raldy Tron, hospitality trainer of Maligaon centre organized a guest lecture for the housekeeping students of Maligaon Centre. Mrs. Shabnam Yasmin, IT trainer of Don Bosco Technical School, Maligaon was the resource person for the day. She has a rich work experience in the hotel industry for over five years.
