On 31st July, a dynamic and thoughtfully designed team-building activity was conducted for the trainees at Don Bosco Tech, Yadgir. Facilitated by Ms. Pratibha and Ms. Dayana, the session brought fresh energy into the training environment through a creative twist on the traditional musical chairs game.
In this version, chairs were gradually removed, but no participant was eliminated. Instead, trainees were challenged to adjust, accommodate, and physically support one another to stay in the game. What began as a light-hearted exercise quickly evolved into a meaningful experience in cooperation, communication, and problem-solving.
The activity aimed to promote key values such as teamwork, adaptability, and collaboration. However, the impact extended far beyond that. As the game progressed, trainees began to discover new ways of working together, thinking creatively under pressure, and trusting their peers. Each round demanded not only physical balance but also emotional intelligence, quick coordination, and mutual respect.
This session revealed the real essence of teamwork: succeeding not at the expense of others, but alongside them. The trainees experienced how innovation often emerges in constraints, and how a group can find strength by supporting every individual, especially in moments of challenge.
For Don Bosco Tech, this activity provided valuable insights into the trainees’ interpersonal dynamics and group behavior. It also reaffirmed the importance of experiential learning as a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. The session served as a reminder that when learning is embedded in experience, it becomes lasting and transformative.
What made the day truly special was the sense of shared achievement and the lively spirit that filled the room. The trainees didn’t just play a game—they walked away with a deeper understanding of how to function as a cohesive unit, ready to take on real-world challenges with a stronger sense of unity and purpose.
