Farnandis hails from Nawadgeri, a small village in Bidar district. The son of Mr. Prakash and Mrs. Shobha, Farnandis completed his 10th standard (SSLC) before embarking on a journey that would transform his life.
He came to know about Don Bosco Tech Society through a friend. Intrigued by the curriculum and the opportunity to build a meaningful career, Farnandis enrolled at Don Bosco Tech – Bidar Center and successfully completed the Domestic Data Entry Operator (DDEO) course.
Shortly after completing his training, Farnandis was shortlisted for an interview with INDO-MIM, a reputed company based in Bengaluru. However, the path forward wasn’t easy. Convincing his parents to allow him to move to a metropolitan city and start his professional journey was a major hurdle. Coming from a rural background, his parents were understandably hesitant.
With consistent counseling and support from the Don Bosco staff, his parents were gradually convinced of the opportunities ahead. Thanks to their support and Farnandis’s determination, he joined INDO-MIM Bengaluru as an Operator, earning Rs. 15,400/- per month. Today, Farnandis is not only supporting his family financially but also living the dreams he once thought were out of reach.
