Report on Placement Orientation
On 28th August 2025, a placement orientation session was successfully conducted at Don Bosco Tech, Jalandhar, by Miss Twinkle Leer. The session aimed to provide students with a clear understanding of the placement process, career opportunities, and the support available to them during and after their training. Miss Twinkle began the session by introducing the mission and vision of Don Bosco Tech Society. She explained that the society is dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth by offering quality vocational training and connecting them with meaningful job opportunities. The organization’s focus on skill development, character building, and employment generation was clearly communicated.
She then elaborated on how the society supports trainees in finding suitable jobs. She highlighted the joint efforts of trainers and the society in preparing students not just technically, but also in soft skills, communication, and workplace readiness. She assured the trainees that continuous support is provided even after placement to help them grow in their careers. Miss Twinkle also introduced the career opportunities available in the Customer Care Executive and E-Commerce domains. She explained the current demand in these sectors and how the courses offered by Don Bosco Tech are tailored to meet industry requirements. Students were guided on the career paths they can pursue in these fields.
Towards the end of the session, she shared success stories of previously placed students from Don Bosco Tech Jalandhar, which served as a source of motivation for the attendees. Overall, the orientation session was well-organized, informative, and smoothly conducted as planned, leaving the trainees better informed and motivated about their career prospects.
