Report on Placement Orientation

A Placement Orientation Session was conducted on 15 May 2026 at Don Bosco Tech Society, Jalandhar Centre, to prepare trainees for upcoming employment opportunities and to guide them in developing the skills required for a successful career.

The session was led by IT-CCE Trainer Mr. Himanshu Pandey and E-Commerce Trainer Ms. Twinkle Leer. The trainers provided detailed information about placement plans, recruitment procedures, and strategies that trainees should follow to improve their chances of securing suitable jobs. During the orientation, special emphasis was placed on the importance of soft skills in the workplace. The trainers discussed effective communication, professional behavior, teamwork, confidence building, and problem-solving skills. They explained how strong soft skills can help candidates perform better during interviews and in professional environments. The trainers also guided the trainees on how to interact with and handle customers professionally. Topics such as active listening, maintaining a positive attitude, understanding customer needs, handling complaints, and providing quality service were discussed in detail. Real-life examples were shared to help trainees understand customer relationship management and workplace expectations.

In addition, the session covered various placement opportunities available in the E-Commerce, IT-CCE, and customer service sectors. Information regarding job roles, industry requirements, interview preparation, resume building, and career growth prospects was provided.
