O. Vinoli, who belongs to Notun Bosti, Dimapur is a 24 year old 10^th pass girl who has a family of 7 members. Her father is the Head G.B whose yearly income is just Rs. 25,000. With a wish to run her own business and to add to the family income, she started up with a beauty parlour.  But soon she realised, running a beauty parlour is not enough to earn a sufficient living for the family.  Thus, she decided to look up for something more valuable that can bring a bigger smile to the family and something that can satisfy the needs of the big family of 7. 

One of these days, when she was going through a newspaper, she came across an advertisement regarding the BASE training offered by DB Tech in partnership with MoRD.  When she read that this training is provided free of cost with assured job placement, she was dumbstruck unable to speak up anything. The very next day, she visited the DB Tech Asisi Centre with the help of the address mentioned in the advertisement.

At the centre, the trainers helped her knowing more about the programme.  As she was into the business, she enquired about the program that offers training in Retail. The trainers counselled her and as per her interest and choice, she was advised to go for the Retail domain. She happily started up with the training hoping for the better future and turning out to be a self dependent person.

“She was a self motivated girl; in the initial days of training, she used to feel shy to talk to her class students. But on being motivated by the trainer she developed confidence in her. She used to be regular for the classes all throughout the training”, says one of her trainer. After completing the training successfully, she was now geared up to work in the corporate world. Above everything, she was ready to move anywhere for work.

3 interviews were arranged for her at three different places, she faced all of them quite confidently. Fortunately, she got selected in 2 of them. Her hard work and loyal character with convincing personality finally paid off bringing success to her. Out of the 2 organisations which gave her a chance she preferred to join Jack & Jill (showroom) located at Dimapur, Nagaland. She was offered the salary of Rs. 3500 per month. 

On enquiring what her future goals are, she uttered, “I will continue working for few years to become a well-experienced person, so that I can get a better opportunity in near future.” At last, she eulogized the BASE training programme saying, “It is an excellent programme for B.P.L youth. My dreams have come true, what about you?”
