Gathering virtually on December 16, 2020, Wednesday, our Manikandam Center hosted a remarkable Alumni Meet that illuminated the transformative journey of our past students. From the resonating notes of a prayer song to the heartfelt welcome address by Mr. Vetri Selvan, our esteemed CE trainer, the ambiance was charged with nostalgia and inspiration.
As the event unfolded, four distinguished alumni took center stage, generously sharing their personal odysseys from before and after their association with Don Bosco Tech. Their narratives, woven with the threads of resilience and perseverance, painted a vivid picture of the challenges encountered and conquered in their respective workplaces. Particularly poignant were the testimonials of Ms. Simla and Mr. Deepak, who candidly reflected on their initial struggles, now transformed into triumphs through diligent practice and learning.
The presence of Rev. Fr. Eugene Florence SDB, the venerable Rector of Don Bosco Media, added a profound dimension to the proceedings. His impassioned invitation for alumni to return to the center underscored the enduring bond between past pupils and the Salesian community, emphasizing their invaluable role in shaping the future.
Acknowledgment and appreciation were lavished upon Rev. Fr. Mathew, the esteemed center head, and Rev. Fr. Vincent, the esteemed Director, who were felicitated for their unwavering commitment to nurturing alumni for a brighter tomorrow.
Ms. Niveditha, the astute Regional Manager, imparted sage advice, urging alumni to view Don Bosco Tech as an ever-accessible resource for guidance and support. Her call to embrace the art of overcoming workplace challenges resonated deeply, echoing the ethos of resilience ingrained in every Don Bosco graduate.
In a strategic move towards continuous growth, Mr. Arulraj, the dynamic State Operations head, elaborated on the upskilling programs available across various centers, with a special mention of the enriching opportunities at DBSM.
Culminating with a heartfelt expression of gratitude from Mr. Jayavel, the dedicated center coordinator, the event concluded on a harmonious note with the rendition of the Don Bosco Hymn, symbolizing the unity and spirit that bind our Don Bosco family together across time and distance.
