26th of January is a gala day for every Indian. On January 26, 1950, the Constitution of India came into force, and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year. This year it was celebrated with pomp and show in our Center. After some time the Father and other distinguished persons arrived. The Father unfurled the national flag. This was followed by our National Anthem ‘Jan Gan Man’ sung by a team of students. Then the series of speeches started. Then the Principal took him to the Function venue. There is a hon'ble guest who unfurled the national flag After this, These cultural items included patriotic songs, folk dances, and speeches.

One girl sang a song, " e mere Watan ke logon..." in a very melodious voice. Some students also presented skits based on the fight against terrorists. The message of the skit was to convey that India would not tolerate the terrorist activities in the country and our brave soldiers were ready to fight terrorism tooth and nail. Then there were speakers who through their speeches invoked the precious contribution of great freedom fighters.

The Father addressed the gathering. He emphasized the need for student participation in Games and sports. Our class trainer also delivered a fine speech on the ‘Importance of computer’ and ‘English’. The whole program of Republic day was nice. The program ended with the distribution of sweets. With a couple more cultural items, the function ended with a national anthem. Towards the end, all the people there flew colored balloons symbolizing prosperity and peace
