On July 15th, 2021, Don Bosco Tech Vazhikaatti, Perambur Center, commemorated World Youth Skill Day with fervor and enthusiasm. With 38 students actively participating, alongside the unwavering support of our Director, Rev. Fr. Andrew Stephen Raj, SDB, and the presence of our esteemed state Coordinator, Mr. Aloysious Arul raj, the event was a testament to our commitment to nurturing the skills of our youth.

The event commenced with a soulful prayer song, setting the tone for the day's proceedings. Ms. Sneha, a student, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, followed by the adept hosting of the program by Ms. Sharan.

Rev. Fr. Andrew Stephen Raj, SDB, extended his heartfelt welcome, acknowledging the students' dedication and commendable performance on this significant occasion.

Mr. Aloysious Arulraj, our esteemed Chief Guest and State Coordinator, delivered an insightful address on the importance of personal skills, social skills, and personal grooming in today's competitive landscape. He shed light on the challenges faced by employers and emphasized the need for continual skill development. Moreover, Mr. Arulraj highlighted the achievements of the DB Tech Society and its impact on students.

The event also featured enlightening speeches by students Mr. Aravindhan and Mrs. Sangeetha, who discussed World Health Skill Day and honored farmer chief minister Mr. Kamaraj. A captivating video presentation, curated by Mr. Manikandan, added a multimedia dimension to the celebration.

Ms. Selvi, expressing gratitude on behalf of the participants, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts that made the event possible.

In closing, Ms. Abisha and Mrs. Veronica extended sincere thanks to all involved, underscoring the collaborative spirit that characterized the event.
