On 06 March 2026, Don Bosco Tech Society, Visakhapatnam, organized a meaningful and interactive Parents–Teacher Meeting that brought together parents, trainers, and students on a common platform to reflect on progress and strengthen collaboration. Spanning over two hours, the session focused on the holistic development of trainees, emphasizing not only academic growth but also discipline, behavior, and future readiness.
The meeting began with an address by the Rev. Father, who warmly welcomed the parents and shared the vision and purpose of the training programs. He highlighted the importance of skill-based education in shaping the future of young individuals and reassured parents of the institution’s commitment to nurturing both competence and character among the trainees.
The trainers provided detailed insights into the students’ performance across different domains. Mr. J. Balamurali elaborated on the progress in the solar training program, while Mrs. L. Indrani Reddy discussed the development of students in Communicative English. They briefed parents on key aspects such as attendance, participation, homework, discipline, and overall engagement in the learning process. Their observations offered parents a clear understanding of their children’s strengths and areas for improvement.
The meeting evolved into an open and engaging dialogue, with parents actively sharing their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions. They expressed appreciation for the consistent efforts of the trainers and Don Bosco Tech Society in creating meaningful learning opportunities for their children. Many parents acknowledged visible improvements in their children’s confidence, communication, and attitude.
Constructive suggestions were also shared, particularly regarding the importance of practical exposure and support in job placement processes. The trainers responded with patience and clarity, offering guidance and reassurance while emphasizing the collective role of both parents and educators in shaping the students’ future.
This interaction significantly strengthened the bond between parents and trainers, fostering a spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation. It created a supportive environment where both parties could work together towards the common goal of student success.
The Parents–Teacher Meeting proved to be a highly valuable initiative, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in education. It reflected Don Bosco Tech Society’s commitment to holistic development, ensuring that every trainee is guided, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
