Among many significant reasons, the main purpose of the event was to make the parents aware of the opportunities that their children would have shortly.
On this occasion, Ms. Mukta Kujur (MIS Head, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh) was invited as the chief guest. The program began at noon with trainees of the center welcoming the Guests-Parents, Ms. Kujur, and Sr. Nivedita (Center in-charge)-with clapping hands and the ritual of washing hands. They were escorted into the hall to their respective chairs and the program proceeded further with the lighting of the lamp by Ms. Kujur, Sr. Nivedita, representatives from the parents and students. Trainees sang a melodious welcome song and danced enthusiastically. Thereafter, Sr. Nivedita encouraged students to say, “you need to find ways to achieve your goals and success in life.” Appealing to the parents she said, “Dear parents, your support is much appreciated in the accompaniment of these young people in the best way possible.” The chief guest inspired students in her speech to fight day-to-day difficulties and fulfill ones’ dreams.
Some of the alumni came on stage and shared their experiences of three months at Dayasagar. They shared some important information about the placement, offer letter, company, location, approximate salary package, etc. with the parents. Some of the parents inquired about the possibility of local job placement to which the trainees said yes they would look into the matter. The parents were sure of consenting to their children joining the job as soon as they received an offer letter.
Last but not least vote of thanks was proposed by Sr. Nivedita. She offered lunch to all the participants.
