Guest Lecture held at Banswara

A guest lecture for Sales Associate was organized on February 6, 2020, at Don Bosco Tech Society (Banswara). Mr. Dinesh Merawat (Sales Executive, Maruti Showroom, Banswara) was invited to brief the trainees who helped them understand the role between consumers and the sales associate, customer satisfaction, grooming, and importance of communication skills among others.
He started with the basics of ‘retails and sales’ and discussed its importance. Thereafter, discussed the vitality of the relationship between a consumer and a sales associate. While he discussed the relationship between a customer and a salesman he did give some tips as to how to deal with the customer and said, “Treat your customers with honesty and dignity as proper communication being the utmost importance.”
He touched upon how to ‘be smart’ and ‘well-groomed’ while on duty. Thereafter, he helped them understand the ways to deal with the higher authorities in the organization. Regarding the scope for promotion, he said, “Customer satisfaction and grooming are the keys to success in every establishment.” He also said, “Help customers choose the product of their choice by explaining its benefits over others.” Added, “Help them in billing by using credit or debit cards at the billing counter.”
In the end, as Mr. Dinesh expressed his gratitude for being invited to address the trainees while he wished them good luck for their future endeavors.
