As part of Don Bosco Tech's commitment to skill development and active parent engagement, a Parents' Meeting was organized on 23rd June 2026 at the Don Bosco Tech, Thakurmunda Centre for the trainees of the Housekeeping Assistant job role before the commencement of their placement process.

The main objective of the meeting was to involve parents in their children's training and placement journey. The session helped them understand the training programme, placement process, and the career opportunities available after successful completion of the course.

The programme began with a warm welcome by Mr. Satyajit Das, Support Domain Trainer. This was followed by a presentation from Ms. Ranjita Maji, Domain Trainer, and Ms. Golap Behera, Field Officer, who explained the course curriculum, practical training, and placement support provided by Don Bosco Tech.

Mr. Satyajit Das also shared information about industry expectations, workplace discipline, communication skills, and the importance of soft skills in securing and retaining employment. He encouraged parents to motivate and support their children throughout the training period.

During the interactive session, parents were invited to share their questions and feedback. They appreciated the efforts of Don Bosco Tech in providing quality training and placement support and expressed confidence in the bright future of their children. The importance of family support in helping trainees complete the course successfully and adapt to the workplace was also highlighted.

The meeting concluded with words of encouragement from the centre team, who reaffirmed Don Bosco Tech's commitment to developing not only skilled professionals but also confident, disciplined, and workplace-ready individuals.

Overall, the Parents' Meeting strengthened the relationship between the centre, trainees, and their families, creating a shared commitment towards the successful training, placement, and career growth of the students.
