Don Bosco Tech Society, Thakurmunda, organized an Exposure Visit for the Housekeeping Assistant trainees to Rudrakshinn Guest House, Thakurmunda, on 30 June 2026. The visit was organized to enhance the trainees' practical knowledge and provide them with real-world exposure to professional housekeeping operations.

The visit was conducted in the presence of Domain Trainer Mr. Satyajit Das, Support Domain Trainer Ms. Ranjita Maji, and Field Officer Mrs. Golap Behera, who guided and supported the trainees throughout the programme.

During the visit, the trainees observed various housekeeping activities and learned about professional cleaning procedures, room preparation, workplace hygiene, safety practices, and the proper use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials. They also gained a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities of housekeeping staff in the hospitality industry.

The trainees had the opportunity to interact with Supervisor Mr. Ajay of Rudrakshinn Guest House, who explained the day-to-day housekeeping operations, industry standards, and workplace expectations. He also shared valuable insights into career opportunities in the hospitality sector and motivated the trainees to develop professionalism, discipline, and a positive work attitude.

The exposure visit helped the trainees connect their classroom learning with practical workplace experience. It improved their confidence, enhanced their understanding of industry standards, and provided them with valuable networking opportunities for future employment.
