Don Bosco Technical Institute Institute began in 1971 for the students coming from the middle and lower income groups. Institute is affiliated to NCVT for ITI courses, To DOEACC for “O” Level course, Council of Indian School Certificate exam for Printing Technology, Don Bosco certificate for all other courses and Non- formal courses. This Institute is ranked as the best Industrial training centre, in the trade of Machinist by Directorate General of Employment and Training by the Ministry of Labour.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

World Youth Skills Day celebrated at Don Bosco Tech (Okhla)

Don Bosco Tech (Okhla) organized ‘Get Skilled, Get Employed’ on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day on July 15, 2019. Mr. Bilal Sarwar started the event with an opening speech, where he spoke about the importance of the day while giving key examples of the increasing world population particularly youth in developing countries. He highlighted the steps being taken globally to address the issue of increasing unemployment through skill development.
