Women’s Day Celebration

The Women’s Day Celebration, held on 5th March 2025, unfolded as a powerful and inspiring three-hour session dedicated to honoring the strength, resilience, and achievements of women. Organized at the Don Bosco Tech Society centre, the event brought together trainees and staff in a shared space of reflection, learning, and empowerment. The session was thoughtfully led by Ms. Annie, Ms. Nivetha Shankar, and Ms. Jayanthi Aparna, whose words resonated deeply with the audience. Plantation Program

The Plantation Program was conducted on 28 January 2026 at Don Bosco Arts and Science College, Kilpauk, by Don Bosco Tech Society to promote environmental awareness. Students and faculty actively participated in planting saplings across the campus, learning proper planting and maintenance techniques. The activity encouraged teamwork and responsibility towards nature while highlighting the importance of greenery and ecological balance. The program concluded successfully, contributing to a more eco-friendly and sustainable campus environment.

Story Wall

The Story Wall activity was conducted for AWS students at Don Bosco Arts and Science College to encourage self-expression and reflection. Students shared their experiences, challenges, and feedback about life at DB Tech by writing on sticky notes and displaying them on a Story Wall. The activity promoted creativity, communication, and a sense of belonging, making it an engaging and meaningful session.

Poster Making

The Poster Making Competition was organized by DB Tech Society on 12 January 2026 at Don Bosco Arts and Science College as part of the 20th Year Celebration. AWS students participated actively, creating posters on the theme “Youth Skilling / Upskilling Youth” using Canva. The event encouraged creativity, technical skills, and awareness about the importance of skill development. Overall, the competition was conducted successfully, providing an engaging platform for students to express their ideas.

Quiz Competition

The Quiz Competition was organized by DB Tech Society on 12 January 2026 at Don Bosco Arts and Science College as part of the 20th Year Celebration. AWS students participated actively, showcasing their knowledge and critical thinking skills. The event was well-structured and conducted smoothly under the guidance of trainers. Overall, the competition was engaging and successful, providing a valuable learning experience for the participants.
