Genesis

The centre was established by the Salesian Sisters with the support of the Salesian Fathers to help the tea garden workers' daughters. According to the needs of the time, young girls were taught needlework, typing, computers, and embroidery. Later, a Needle packing section was started in partnership with Pony Needle Company to offer employment. Currently, we run guest services to provide accommodation to the students who attend exams and tests for military selection and tourists, thus offering jobs to local women.
