The first parents' meeting of the SHA project, online batch 1 was held on  July 15, 2021, at 6.30 pm. Rev. Fr. Shibu Davies ( State in charge) Rev. Fr. Raju Philip (centre head, Don Bosco Tech,vaduthala) Mr Juby Thomas ( State Coordinator), Mr Digit Jose (State Finance Coordinator), Mrs Anila Samson (State MIS Coordinator), the staff, trainees and their parents participated in the meeting. 23 students and 23 parents participated in this meeting session started at 06:30 pm with a prayer song by Mr Benson(student ). Mrs Selin (Trainer, Donbosco tech Vaduthala )gave the welcome speech. Our State in charge Rev. Fr Shibu Davies presided over the meeting. He Inaugurated the session and gave us a valuable and advisable speech about the course. Rev. Fr. Raju Philip Mr Juby Thomas Mr Digit Jose and Mrs Anila Samson also gave advisable and inspiring speeches about the course and the training. They explained to them the importance of the three months course and the on-the-job training, job opportunities in this pandemic situation, and also informed them that it is very difficult to get job opportunities in local placement so they have to go out of the district for their job.

Mr Anzil (Mobilizer)described the best features of online class, online classroom interactions, personalized learning, use of technology applied in the online classroom, computer, etc. Mrs Sherly Jose(parent of Ancil Jose)has given the speech about pleasant and good experiences in Don Bosco Tech. Mr Sherly Jose and her husband sang a song. Unfortunately, Mrs Laly (Parent of Liju John)was not available for the speech. Trainer's speeches encouraged the students and parents to understand well, about their training, job, and placement. We considered each of the parents and students one by one. This meeting proved to be a great success. The parents and students were very happy. The meeting has given inspiration to the parents and students. In the end, Mr Joshwin R (Trainer Donbosco Tech Vaduthala )gave the vote of thanks the meeting was over at 07.45 pm.
