Report of Trainees Interaction Programme with Management Team
21 August 2021, was a day where the Don Bosco Tech -Ashalaya organized trainees interaction with the management of Don Bosco Tech Society and Katherina Kasper Social Service Society (KKSSS). The program was a success with the presence of Sr. Bindu, (Directress of Ashalaya), Fr. George Mathew, (Executive Director of Don Bosco Tech), Sr. Josephine (Provincial of St Mary’s Province of PHJC and President of KKSSS), Sr Roshni PHJC (In-charge Social Work initiatives of St Mary’s Province), Sr. Sushma (Manager of Ashalaya Trust), and Mr Veeresh (State Coordinator of Karnataka), the trainees and trainers.
All the guests and attendees were warmly welcomed at the entrance by the trainees with the traditional Aarthi. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Fr. George Mathew and all guests.
Fr. George Mathew addressed the gathering and shared his experience with the trainees. He explained the path of awareness about the career and how to be self-motivated. He also advised the trainees to have dreams and never give up because great things take time to achieve. His words were very much inspired to the trainees.
The program also included a round of questions asked by the new batch of Sewing Machine Operator trainees as they wish to know the pros and cons of PMKK - Don Bosco Tech Ashalaya Training and also showed interest to bring new students and spread awareness about the training. Feedback and experience of trainees were also shared during this interaction in which the issues and concerns will be looked upon by the team.
All in all, it was a satisfying and fulfilling experience for trainees as well as the trainers.
