Trainees Day

India celebrates Children's Day on 14th of November every year as a tribute to our first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru as he was born on 14th  of November 1889. Nehru, fondly called Chacha Nehru, shared a affectionate bond with children.

On this special day Don Bosoc Tech Kalimpong, conduted various programs to celebrate the children's day. But We celebrated it as the Trainees day because all our students are grown up. 

The program started at sharp 9:30 at the auditorium where all the students and staffs gathered to celebrate the trainees day. Our chief guests were our Fathers Rector Martin Lakra, Fr. Prabhdayal Ekka and Brother Roshan Ekka. The program began with felicitaion of guest follwed by the prayer. After that a short speech was given by Father rector on Children's day and why do we celebrate it.

The event began with the competitions starting with Group dance followed by  group song, theme presentation, music and mime. The groups participated are Green House, Blue House, Yellow House and Red House. 

At 12:15 we had a lunch break and again the program resumed at 12:45  in which we had some indoor events such as Drawing and sketching, Painting and portrait, best out of waste . After that  we have  organised the cultural exhibition. At 2:15 everyone gathered at the auditorium for the cultural dress exhibition .And at 3:15 we had the Prize distribution. The Green house was the first to win the prize, Blue second, Yellow third and Red group was  the fourth. The event was very successful as all the students, staffs and principal were equally engaged for this event.We would like to give a special thanks to our princiapl for supporting us in each and every step.
