On June 22, we commemorated International Yoga Day with fervor and dedication at D.B.Tech, Bindwara. As part of our celebration themed "HEALTH AND FITNESS," a special assembly engaged students across all batches. The focus was on enlightening them about the holistic advantages of yoga, encompassing physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. Through discussions and demonstrations of various yoga postures, students not only grasped the essence of yoga but also showcased their understanding by creating informative posters highlighting its myriad benefits.
To enhance awareness, interactive sessions were conducted, including a yoga quiz tailored to each class's level. Practical sessions on Pranayama and diverse asanas were integrated into the curriculum, allowing students to experience firsthand the rejuvenating effects of these practices. The engagement extended beyond the classroom, as students crafted informative videos and posters elucidating different facets of yoga, amplifying its significance.
Acknowledging the pivotal role of educators, a special activity was curated by Mr. Sunni Kumar (Munger Cluster) and our dedicated team to empower teachers with the benefits of yoga for their personal well-being. This holistic approach not only promotes physical health but also nurtures a balanced state of mind, especially vital during times of remote work and increased stress.
