The four-day training titled “Training of Trainers” on Skilling Ecosystem for enhancing the capacity of state team with an objective to build the capacity of Trainers from implementing partner was held at Transport Nagar, Lucknow from 21st June -24th June, 2022. A total of 20 participants of different designations participated in the training.
The purpose of training was to train the participants on the concept of participatory planning and train them to achieve the goal and motto of Don Bosco Tech Society.
Training included various topics such as Roles of NSQF, NSDC, SSC, QP, NOS and various skills and traits required for effective planning and implementation.
The training methodology was interactive the master trainers ensured that knowledge was not only disseminated but accurately perceived and understood by the participants. And in order to ensure this, trainers engaged participants in discussion and kept the forum open for feedback, queries and suggestions. These discussions and interactive sessions were supported through training materials such as power point presentations, pre and post assessment and handouts on participatory planning.
The objectives of this four-day training were as follows:
- To increase the understanding of participants on Participatory Planning and its importance in the implementation of Skill India Development project by Don Bosco Tech Society and Royal Enfield.
- To educate the participants about the current project and to make them aware of each and every role assigned to them in each step of project completion.
- To enhance the understanding of participants through training sessions and discussions on concept of Skilling for under privileged youth of India and provide them employment.
- To prepare the participants for upcoming trainings of 600 trainees in Don Bosco Tech Society by providing them effective training sessions with the support of relevant case studies and pre and post assessments.
The training participants included staff members of implementing partners (Don Bosco Tech Society) and representatives from funding partners (Eicher Group Foundation). Total number of participants was 20 (males: 17; females:3) who belonged to different designations.
The team which delivered sessions during the training comprised of 5 internal experts from capacity building team - Don Bosco Tech Society. Given below is a brief description of the resource persons.

The objectives of TOT were fully achieved and focussed thoroughly on the learning development of trainers.
