On Saturday, 28 February 2026, Don Bosco Tech, Kalyani organized a Parents–Teacher Meeting for trainees of Batch 6 and Batch 8 (Batch Nos. 260001 and 260059) enrolled in the Kitchen Trainee and GSA courses. The meeting was held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the centre and served as an important platform to strengthen collaboration between the institution and the families of the trainees.

Parents were warmly welcomed and invited to participate in the session to gain deeper insight into the training journey of their wards. The gathering was graced by the presence of Father K.T. Thomas, Centre In-Charge of Don Bosco Tech, Kalyani, whose participation added significance to the interaction. His presence encouraged meaningful dialogue and reinforced the institution’s commitment to holistic youth development.

The meeting provided a comprehensive overview of the Kitchen Trainee and GSA programs, which have been running successfully for the past two months. Trainers and coordinators shared details about the structure of the courses, the training methodology adopted at the centre, and the standards of discipline and evaluation maintained throughout the program. Special attention was given to the practical components of the training, highlighting how hands-on learning and real-world simulations prepare trainees for the dynamic demands of the hospitality industry.

Parents actively engaged in the discussion and raised several thoughtful questions, particularly regarding placement opportunities and career prospects after completion of the training. The faculty and placement team addressed these queries with clarity, elaborating on industry partnerships, potential job roles, career growth pathways, and the continuous support provided by Don Bosco Tech in facilitating employment for its trainees.

During the session, Father K.T. Thomas reflected on the vision of Don Bosco and the enduring mission of Don Bosco Tech to empower young people through skill-based education and dignified livelihood opportunities. He spoke about the vast possibilities within the hospitality sector and encouraged parents to support their children in embracing discipline, dedication, and professionalism as they prepare for their future careers.

The interaction fostered a sense of trust and shared responsibility between the institution and the families. Parents expressed appreciation for the transparency, guidance, and dedication demonstrated by the trainers and management. The meeting concluded on a positive and encouraging note, reaffirming the collective commitment to nurturing the potential of the trainees and supporting them on their journey toward a stable and meaningful career.
