On Saturday, 28 February 2026, Don Bosco Tech, Kalyani hosted a meaningful and engaging Parents–Teacher Meeting for trainees of Batch 6 and Batch 8 (Batch Nos. 260001 and 260059) enrolled in the Kitchen Trainee and Guest Service Associate (GSA) courses. The session, held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, brought together parents, trainers, and administrators in a constructive dialogue aimed at strengthening the partnership between families and the institution in shaping the future of the trainees.

The meeting served as an important platform for parents to gain a deeper understanding of the training journey their wards have embarked upon. It provided an opportunity to explore the structure of the program, the skill-building approach adopted at the centre, and the larger vision behind the training initiatives of Don Bosco Tech.

The gathering was graced by Father K.T. Thomas, Centre In-Charge of Don Bosco Tech, Kalyani, whose presence added warmth and inspiration to the session. Engaging directly with parents, he shared thoughtful insights about the role of skill-based education in transforming the lives of young people. He spoke passionately about the philosophy of Don Bosco and the organization’s enduring commitment to empowering youth through practical learning, discipline, and dignified employment.

During the session, trainers and coordinators presented a detailed overview of the course curriculum, training methodology, discipline framework, and evaluation process followed at the centre. They highlighted how the programs are designed to combine theoretical knowledge with extensive practical exposure, ensuring that trainees develop the confidence, competence, and professionalism required by the hospitality industry.

A particularly engaging part of the meeting was the interactive discussion with parents. Many raised thoughtful questions regarding career pathways, job placements, and long-term opportunities for their children. The trainers addressed these queries with clarity, explaining the institution’s strong industry linkages, placement support system, and the wide range of employment opportunities available in the rapidly growing hospitality sector.

Father K.T. Thomas further encouraged parents to view skill development as a powerful pathway toward self-reliance and personal dignity. He emphasized that with the right training, discipline, and dedication, young people can unlock remarkable opportunities in the hospitality industry and build stable, meaningful careers.

The meeting concluded on a positive and hopeful note. Parents expressed their appreciation for the openness, guidance, and commitment demonstrated by the Don Bosco Tech team. Their feedback reflected a growing sense of trust and confidence in the institution’s mission to nurture talent, instill values, and prepare young individuals to step confidently into the world of work.

Beyond being a routine meeting, the event became a moment of shared vision and collective encouragement. It reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between parents and educators in supporting the aspirations of young learners. The gathering left participants inspired, confident, and united in their commitment to the growth and success of the trainees, reinforcing the lasting impact of Don Bosco Tech’s dedication to skill development and youth empowerment.
