A Parents’ Meet was held on 21 April at Don Bosco Tech-Barpeta Road with Fr. Jonas Toppo, center In charge, Ms. Anita Kapuh, Placement coordinator, the center team, trainees, and parents in attendance. Fr. Jonas introduced the training program and the mission of Don Bosco Tech, encouraging trainees to gain work experience and become responsible citizens.
Ms. Anita Kapuh shared details about placement opportunities with Global Manpower Services in Noida, Delhi, including salary, working hours, and facilities. Seven parents participated, raising concerns about safety and security, which the team addressed by explaining workplace behavior and support systems. The meeting successfully informed parents about job opportunities and reassured them about their wards’ well-being and instructed the trainees to follow company's rule and regulations at workplace to avoid unnecessary issues while away from home.
Mr. Alex-Support Domain trainer gave vote of thanks for the parents who attended the meeting and instructed the trainees to prepare themselves to travel for job placement.
