Mr. Julius Lugun started his session with a short introduction of himself. After that, he introduces the topic to the trainees. He explained the topic of Entrepreneurship and said that an entrepreneur is an individual who creates a new business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of the rewards.

The process of setting up a business is known as 'entrepreneurship.' An entrepreneur is commonly seen as an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and business or procedures. He added that in entrepreneurship, the person is the sole owner of the venture, so to be successful; one has to make plans before starting the business. He suggested a few things like selection of the place of business, availability of resources, availability of raw materials, targeted consumers, market, and demand for the finished products. Moreover, he told the trainees to be motivated, have a clear vision, passion for doing something, be confident, and take calculative risks.

Mr. Julius shared about 5 C’s of Entrepreneurship:-

    1. Clarity
    2. Credibility
    3. Conviction
    4. capital
    5. Concentration in execution

He asked the trainees to share their concerns about starting a business in their respective areas. The trainees shared their problems like capital, shyness, family problems, etc. Mr. Julius added a few more points about the difficulties the trainees would face, such as obtaining resources, producing finished products, and dealing with marketing issues. Nevertheless, He suggested some points on how to solve the problems. Since the trainees are women and belong to village areas, they would face family problems. He advised the trainees to learn how to manage time, discuss and involve family members in the planning stage. He added that the trainees could take help from the nearest bank and take small loans since most of the trainees belong to SHG groups. Furthermore, he told the trainees to save money.

He concluded the session by encouraging the trainees to be bold and start a business. He also took a few successful female entrepreneurs' success stories to motivate them.
