Don Bosco Tech Rangajan Centre recently celebrated a momentous occasion - the Graduation Day Ceremony held on November 16, 2023. This marked the culmination of a significant journey for 21 resilient individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These determined individuals completed a rigorous 60-day training program in Food and Beverage Service Associates, a transformative initiative under the auspices of the Don Bosco Tech Society and supported by LTIMindtree Foundation.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Ajoy Kerketta, Block Project Manager (ASRLM), who delivered an inspiring speech. He emphasized the value of dignity in work and urged the graduates to embrace diverse opportunities with faith and perseverance.

Father Romanus Ekka, Principal of Don Bosco High School, Rangajan, commended the graduates for their dedication and encouraged them to explore various avenues in their job search, emphasizing the importance of resilience.

The event was adorned with cultural performances, including soulful songs and captivating dances that illuminated the celebration. The highlight of the ceremony was the heartfelt testimonials shared by individuals whose lives were profoundly changed by the training. One such inspiring story was that of Mr. Loketo Aye, who overcame personal challenges and transformed into a positive individual, expressing gratitude to Don Bosco Tech for the opportunity to change, learn, and secure employment within 60 days.

Br. Sunny Joseph, center-in-charge, conveyed motivating words to the graduates, urging them to prepare for the challenges ahead and compete as professionals in their respective fields.

The ceremony culminated with a gracious vote of thanks by Mr. Kipito V Chishi, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in the success of the training.

This Graduation Day marked not just the completion of a program but a triumph over obstacles, symbolizing the beginning of a brighter future for these graduates. The placement offers from esteemed establishments such as LYFE Hotel, Bhubaneswar, The Tamara Kodai, Kodaikanal, and Beatle Café & Grill House; Kovalam further validated the effectiveness of the program in preparing individuals for the corporate world.
