On March 28, 2024, a momentous occasion unfolded at Don Bosco Tech-Rangajan as parents, guardians, esteemed guests, and our dedicated team gathered to celebrate the Graduation Day for our F&B Service Associate program. Supported by the Skills for Dignity initiative under the LTI Mindtree Foundation, this event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our graduating students.

Under the capable leadership of Sir Patras Ekka, our center coordinator, the day kicked off with a warm welcome and introductions, allowing parents to meet our committed staff members. Throughout the meeting, crucial points were shared regarding placements and the responsibilities awaiting our graduates in the workforce:

  • Emphasis on punctuality, regularity, and safety in the workplace.
  • Awareness about shared accommodation and the necessity of relocation for job placements.
  • Clarification on entry-level positions and the need for students to cover their own travel and food expenses during placements.
  • Guidance on workplace conduct, including refraining from night parties, sharing personal information, and adhering to dress codes.

The session also addressed parental queries regarding work shifts and traveling expenses, ensuring transparency and clarity for all involved.

Following the informative meeting, the Graduation Ceremony commenced with much anticipation. We were honored to welcome Mrs. Madhurumi Sanga, advocate of Golaghat District Court, as our chief guest. Her insightful speech resonated deeply with our graduates, emphasizing the importance of values and soft skills in their professional journey.

The ceremony was a vibrant affair, featuring traditional lamp lighting, heartfelt speeches, and captivating performances by our talented students. Mrs. Sanga, alongside esteemed guests including Sir Amos Ekka, shared words of wisdom and encouragement, inspiring our graduates to embrace their roles with excellence and integrity.

As each graduate received their sash and well-deserved recognition, a sense of pride filled the air, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. The program concluded with a delicious lunch, fostering camaraderie and celebration among students, parents, and staff alike.

At Don Bosco Tech-Rangajan, we take immense pride in nurturing talent and empowering young individuals to succeed in the dynamic world of hospitality. As our graduates embark on their professional journey, we remain committed to guiding and supporting them every step of the way. Congratulations to the Class of 2024 – may your futures be bright and fulfilling!
