Don Bosco Tech - Vocational Training Center is situated at the foothills of North Garo Hills, Meghalaya. It is about 164 kms away from Guwahati, the capital city of Assam and the gateway to the North East India. Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre has become centre for learning skills and shaping lives. Many poor and marginalised youths are being trained and helped to get their employment.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

A visit to Bajengdoba PHC

On January 23, 2020, the trainees of General Duty Assistant (GDA), Mendal center under the SHCDM project visited Bajongdoba PHC which was a replication of their classroom learning.
