Genesis

A technical school in Sultan Bathery came into existence when on April 20, 1994 the Salesians Society bought 1.5 acres of land adjoining the Diocesan land. On this land the construction work began in 1995 and was completed in 1998. Here training is offered on a non-formal basis.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

Farewell Program

Don Bosco Tech Society, Sulthan Bathery conducted a virtual farewell program for its trainees on  January 5, 2022. It was a significant day of their life; the end of student life and the beginning of the next phase in life. Participants’ number was overwhelming. They were around sixty trainees in the program, comprising three batches of trainees; Electrician Domestic Solutions and Auto Body Technician and Mechanics. The entire program went as per the plan. Christmas Celebration

Don Bosco Tech Sulthan Bathery, celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ in a grand manner on Wednesday 22-12-2021 with a crib set up by teachers and students. The students had beautifully decorated their classrooms with bells, stars, streamers and angels. Teachers and students sang Christmas carol. Fr. Gender equality

Don Bosco Tech Sulthan Bathery conducted an online guest lecture for the Electrician Domestic Solution trainees on 6th December 2021. Mr Basil Jolly assistant HR manager of Schneider Electric Bangalore lead the one-hour online session. The Topic discussed in this session was gender equality. Weekly centre team meeting

On 19.11.2021, Don Bosco Tech Sulthan Bathery has been conducted a weekly centre team meeting at 10.00 AM in the centre. The meeting was conducted with the presence of centre head Br. Philip V.C and our administrator Fr Benny and all trainers. The discussion was on important matters related to the project J P Morgan fund, Batches, Students and Communication. Mr Sunil Paul (Trainer)  was assigned for document collection of JP Morgan Batches. It was decided to collect all the documents by the end of the coming week.
