COVID-19 Test: held at Katihar center
04 Nov 2020
Don Bosco Tech Society, Katihar had organized a round of COVID-19 tests for its staff and the students, ensuring good health, before reopening the center. All those tested found negative.
A two-day-COVID 19 test was carried out on the premises on Nov. 4-5, 2020. In all 80 trainees and 14 staff members underwent the test following all the safety measures. Thanks be to God for keeping us safe. A great sigh because all those tested were found to be negative in the Antigen test report. Let us keep faith in God and pray that the ITPCR test report may also be negative.
It would not have been possible without the pivotal role of Mr. Sushant Anand (The Center Manager), who approached the concerned health department in the district, pleading for help. Not just that, he arranged all the requirements conditioned by the health department. Don Bosco Tech is highly obliged for walking the extra miles to conduct the test, that too free of cost.
The whole program was voluntarily conducted by Lab Technicians PSC (BTO Piramal Swasthya), Hansraj Mr. Bibhuti Chandra Yugal, and Mr. Shailendra Kumar Paswan.
Strictly adhering to the SOP, the team conducted the test. After the test was carried out they oriented the staff and the students on ‘Do gaj ki doori mask hai jaruri’, (Maintain two feet physical distance and put on a mask). They also advised on frequent use of sanitizer, avoid touching where possible and cover mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing.
