Don Bosco Tech Society has established the DDUGKY Training centre in Katihar Block in November 2018. The training centre started with two main domains Food and Beverage Service Steward & GDA and two supportive domains.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

COVID-19 Test: held at Katihar center

Don Bosco Tech Society, Katihar had organized a round of COVID-19 tests for its staff and the students, ensuring good health, before reopening the center. All those tested found negative. A two-day-COVID 19 test was carried out on the premises on Nov. 4-5, 2020. In all 80 trainees and 14 staff members underwent the test following all the safety measures. Thanks be to God for keeping us safe. A great sigh because all those tested were found to be negative in the Antigen test report. A Virtual Employment cum Guidance Fair was organized on Monday at Don Bosco tech society, Katihar, Bihar on September 7, 2020.
