Employment is the ultimate end of every training provider. It is the result of adequate and quality training. Don Bosco Tech is known for providing its pupils a platform where they hone their skills. On March 09, 2021, Don Bosco Tech, Haridwar center, had organized Job Fair on the campus, where more than 25 alumni got selected by different companies.

Early on March 09, the registration of the students started. Altogether 192 alumni had registered. As the job fair was open to the youths of Haridwar there were many graduates seen on the campus from far and near came to grab the opportunity. A list of companies and their requirements was displayed near the registration desk so that the job seekers can identify their choice of company. The companies were given separate desks within the campus. The center was fortunate to have 12 companies for the Job Fair. To name a few GK Trading, Shiva Industries, Hotel Ganga Residency, Soni Electronics, Oxford Institute, Batla Agencies, Om Sons Agencies, H.S. Electronics, Motisons Shares, and Pvt. Ltd., Swati Enterprises, A.Q. Engineers and Madison Square Life Sciences.

The job Fair started with a briefing which was conducted by Mr. Rakesh Arora (State Coordinator, Haridwar).

Adequate and separate facilities were provided to the companies for conducting their recruitment process. As the recruitment process varies from industry to industry, some representatives held a round of written tests, followed by group discussions (GD), personal interviews (PA).

There were companies offering jobs on the spot by taking interviews of the keen and suitable candidates. Many companies complying with their guidelines were seen collecting CVs from the young graduates who came to the job fair. Here is the detailed result of the recruitment process:

As the Don Bosco Tech Society’s mission is to bridge the skill gap it was another notable effort to facilitate skilled youth to get adequate jobs in hand. The Job Fair came to its closure after a sumptuous lunch for all.
