Guest lecturer ,Ms.Shivani (Program Analyst, Euphoria Solutions pvt.ltd, Sivakasi), was the speaker for this special lecture on innovative technologies which was held on Dec.06.2019. Mrs.Leninmari gave a floral welcome to all.
The Main objective of the lecture was to familiarize the students with the basic concepts of computer technologies. Her lecture involved about the introduction to different telecommunication technologies and overview of working of mobile networks. She explained everything in detail steps while making a call from one location to other.
She explained that today we take for granted that the Internet gave us instant access to everything from what's on at the education to the latest technologies to connect with our friends and family across the world, but the pace of technological change is only just getting started. We are entering a new era where "everything" you can possibly imagine will be connected, opening up whole new ways for us to live.
Ms.Shivani shared what the "Internet of Everything" is all about and how it will change nearly every aspect of our lives , some of the key technologies that will be available to us, some of the new business models and customer experiences which we can expect to see. Later, she discussed the basics of switches, routes, servers, firewalls, IP networks, broadband access and fixed access.
At the end of session, she expressed that how Internet has changed the way of life to live, learn, work and play, and what the Internet of Everything is going to do– Tomorrow starts here!
Ms.Prabha closed the session by vote of thanks and national anthem. There will be a reception following the lecture.
