Environment Day Celebration Report
Venue: CHETANA HOME BASED CARE CENTER, GUNA
Organized By: DON BOSCO TECH
World Environment Day was observed with great enthusiasm at CHETANA HOME BASED CARE CENTER, GUNA, with active participation of students, staff, and distinguished guests. The objective of the program was to raise awareness among students about environmental conservation and to emphasize the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations.
We were honored by the presence of Mr. Shubham Tickley, the State coordinator of Don Bosco Tech Society, as the Chief Guest. The program was attended by DON BOSCO TECH staff - Sister Shiji, Mr. Mayank Bhargava, and Mr. Chetan Maurya, along with CHETANA staff Mr. Avinash Bhargava and Mr. Pankaj Sharma.
During the program, Mr. Avinash Bhargava addressed the students and delivered an insightful speech on environmental conservation. He emphasized the significance of protecting the environment and shared practical measures that individuals can adopt to contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. His address inspired students to incorporate environmentally responsible practices into their daily lives.
Following the keynote address, a formal vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Chetan Maurya, who expressed sincere appreciation to the speaker for his valuable insights and guidance.
To enhance the engagement and encourage active participation, Sister Shiji organized an interactive group activity. Students were divided into four teams. The teams presented impromptu performances showing various ways to protect nature and promote environmental conservation. The activity fostered creativity, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility among the participants.
The performances were highly appreciated by the audience as they effectively communicated important messages related to conservation of nature, environmental stewardship, and sustainable living.
The program concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Pankaj Sharma, who commended the efforts of all participants and underlined the importance of continuing environmental awareness and conservation initiatives.
At the conclusion of the event, refreshments, including samosas and snacks, were distributed to all students. The celebration ended on a positive and inspiring note, encouraging students to actively contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development.
