Don Bosco Tech (Smailpur) celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 5, 2019, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was a renowned scholar, recipient of Bharat Ratna, first Vice- President and second President of independent India. The teacher’s day was organized by the trainees. Some trainees acted as the trainers for the day and took the responsibility of the trainers and the remaining trainees’ corporated for the same.
After the teaching sessions, trainees invited the trainers to their classes where they decorated the classes and organized some fun activities for the trainers. Trainers indulged in fun-filled activities that marked the celebration. They sang, danced and played together creating memories to cherish forever. They reveled in the company of their fellow trainers, taking pride in their role as teachers who transform lives and create the future.
A song and a poem by the trainees were dedicated to the trainers. The celebration also included some dance performances and after that trainees presented the gift to their trainers.
The celebrations came to an end with a beautiful song by Meenakshi (Trainee, GDA Domain). The song highlighted the relationship of a baby and mother and it was dedicated to teachers who are considered to be the second parents for the trainees. They mold their life with love, affection, dedication and hard work.
All the trainers addressed the trainees with inspiring words. All the trainees thanked all the trainers for their diligence, sincerity and hard work. All the Trainers were given titles as a token of love and appreciation for them. The programme ended with the distribution of sweets to all. The program wrapped up with a vote of thanks by trainers to trainees for the arrangements of the function
