Valedictory Program for Accenture Phase-10, ISMO B3

The valedictory program for the trainees of Accenture Phase 10, Batch 3, Industrial Sewing Machine Operator (ISMO) domain was organized on March 17, 2020, at Don Bosco Tech Society (Khorhatoli, Kokar Ranchi) from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The function started with the welcome speech by Ms. Saroj Kandulna (Center Coordinator) who warmly welcomed Fr. Noble George (Principal, ITI, Kokar) the chief guest of the event and thanked him for being available on this occasion. She also heartily welcomed the honorable guests Mr. Wakaish Alam (State Coordinator, Jharkhand & Chattisgarh) and Ms. Mukta Mariam Kujur (State MIS, Jharkhand) along with all the trainees of the center and staff members. After that, the trainees of ISMO B4 presented a melodious welcome song and danced to cheer the gathering.
20 valedictorians were especially welcomed with the rose flowers aesthetically woven by the trainees of ISMO B4, symbolizing ‘the real flowers in the garden of this world which spread fragrance of knowledge and talent gained from Don Bosco Tech Society.
Ms. Saroj congratulated and thanked the trainees for completing their training saying, “Where there is a beginning there is an end and where there is an end there is a beginning. This training ends here but the journey to your life begins. Never stop learning and growing.” She mentioned those outstanding trainees to motivate the others. It was then that she invited Fr. Noble and Mr. Wakaish to honor them with a token of appreciation.
Fr. Noble took to motivate the trainees with his high pitched speech. He advised them to focus on continuous growth reminding them of the meaning of the logo of Don Bosco Tech. “Pursue your goal with grit and grace,” he said. He also requested them to encourage many more girls and boys to pursue such courses, so that they may get the benefit of the training and make their life bright and successful.
The program was graced with the presence of Mr. Wakaish who made us aware of the spread and Do’s and Don’ts of the deadly Coronavirus. Knowing the fact that the training program cannot take place. Hence he officially announced that all the activities, in the center, will remain closed till April 14, 2020, said, “Hemant Soren (Chief Minister, Jharkhand) has passed the order that the schools, colleges, malls, cinema halls, swimming areas, park, and other public gathering places will remain closed.” “Prevention is better than cure,” he said in the closure of his speech.
Thus, the trainees of ISMO sang a valedictory song for the valedictorians and presented them with small gifts as a token of love and remembrance. One of the outgoing trainees shared about her life journey at Don Bosco Tech and said, “I have sprouted from nothing to something and will continue to grow”. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards Don Bosco Tech Society and all those who helped her to achieve what she has become today.
In return, the valedictorians presented gifts for the trainers. And touched the feet of their trainers, as a Hindu custom, and sought manifold blessings.
With an attitude of gratitude to Fr. Noble George and State Team for sparing their precious time and making this day a successful one the program saw its closure with refreshment and group photography.
