At Don Bosco Tech Kuarmunda, we recognize the pivotal role the hospitality sector plays in driving economic progress. In line with this vision, we organized an enlightening exposure visit for the inaugural batch of Food & Beverage Service Associates under the esteemed RHI Magnesita project on December 23, 2023.

Accompanied by Mr. Sarada Prasad Nanda, Executive-Center Operations, and Mr. Ram Narayan Mishra, Trainer-F&B Service Associate, our trainees embarked on a journey to Hotel Pahadi in Rourkela. Mr. Ganesh, the affable Front Office Manager, extended a warm welcome, setting the tone for an enriching experience.

Led by Mr. Ram Narayan Mishra, our trainees delved into the intricacies of various departments within the hotel, including Front Office, Food & Beverages, Housekeeping, and the Kitchen. They gained invaluable insights into the pivotal roles these departments play in upholding the hotel's reputation, ensuring guest comfort, and maintaining meticulous records.

From exploring the nuances of table service in the coffee shop to understanding the nuances of room classifications, our trainees received comprehensive hands-on training. They learned essential skills such as table cover preparation, napkin folding, room servicing, and guest handling under the guidance of seasoned professionals.

The exposure visit epitomized a milestone in our trainees' professional journey, equipping them with practical skills and industry knowledge essential for success in the dynamic hospitality landscape. By fostering such initiatives, Don Bosco Tech remains committed to preparing individuals for leadership roles in a diverse and global job market.
