St.Joseph's Vocational Training Institute, Dumka is one of the leading establishments, training 100s of students in marketing and communication for over a decade. The pedagogy of this center is to train and to handhold support towards placements to the youth, making them self-reliant. While expanding its reach, the center is now jointly running programs with the Don Bosco Tech Society with job roles of Assistant Electrician, General Duty Assistant, Sewing Machine Operator, and Food and Beverage Service Steward.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

2ND GUEST LECTURERER OF DM BATCH B3

A guest session was conducted by Mr. Devrath Sengupta, Manager, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on “Chances of Getting a Job in the Government Sector.” He shared information about government career opportunities, competitive exam preparation, and the importance of computer and communication skills. He encouraged trainees to stay focused, continuously improve their skills, and prepare confidently for future government job opportunities.

World Youth Skill Day-Celebration

Don Bosco Vocational Training Institute, Dumka, celebrated World Youth Skills Day in the presence of Br. Johnny and Dr. George Panicker,CEO OF ISR-LIFE USA. They inspired the students by sharing insights on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the future of work, and the importance of developing skills to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

B3-B4 INAUGRATION And PTM

The Inauguration Program for the DM & Sr. DTP Batch was held on 10th July at Don Bosco VTI, Panjanpahari. The program marked the commencement of training for Digital Mitra and Senior Desktop Publishing students. The main objective of the training is to develop digital and technical skills to enhance career opportunities for the trainees. On the same day, a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was also conducted.
