In continuing efforts in enhancing and empowering the skills of future employees of the General Duty Assistant(GDA) Curriculum, Don Bosco Tech Khaspur, Patna organized a Guest Lecture on the 6th of June 2022.

Ms. Samira Tete (Staff Nurse at Big Hospital, Patna, Bihar), was the eminent speaker for this lecture. Ms. Tete was heartily welcomed by Mr. Ashish kr. Sinha(Centre In-Charge), introduced the guest having 10+ years of experience in the Nursing Sector. She was also the Ex-Employee of DBTECH. The speaker highlighted the present need for a hospital and how the trainee's skills enhanced can help the students in equipping themselves with the ability required to compete in the profession. The lecturer covered those points that required the students to develop their skills in their particular work field, So that, they can tackle obstacles during their careers.

She spoke on the various aspects of employability requirements, soft skills, and behavioral aspects that students should inculcate while they are working in the industry. She explained the various types of communication, which are verbal, non-verbal, and written communication. She provided some tips to frame the resume professionally to catch the attention of the Interviewer. And also explained, how to face the interview and the kind of skills are required to crack the interview, so that, they would be recruited easily.

Two of the students from the center Rashi Kumari and Ujala Kumari gave feedback on the session. They mentioned that the session would help them in their personal and professional life. The topic covered was appreciated by the students and requested to arrange such talk in the future as well.

At the end of the session, Ms. Alisha Trainer of GDA expressed a deep sense of appreciation to the valuable guests.
