INDUSTRIAL VISIT  AT KRISHNANAGAR

Don Bosco Tech Krishnagar 23 November, 2019: Industrial visit was carried out at Road Station (33/11 KV Substation) in Krishnagar for electrical students. The main objective behind the visit was to make students aware about the various activities related to electrical domain that are carried out in company or in work place. Mr. Azaheruddin shaikh (Electrical Trainer) with the support of Mr. Amal Krishna Saha, an employee of Don Bosco Technical School & Private ITI Krishnagar and Senior Supervisor and Professor of Nadia District Head Electric Supply Office  along with electrical students left for the  visit at 11.00 A.M.

As soon as they reached the spot ,the students were guided by Mr. Amal Krishna Saha who showed each and everything in details of power supply and the uses of it according to the need of the commercial and domestic. He also instructed them with the rules and regulation of the spot so that there may not be any kind of accident.  They came to know about the receiving power system from 33 KV line, the distribution system through bus bar to different feeder, also got an idea about the operation of VCB and DC battery storage system ,how different relays operated by DC Power system which was the basic purpose of this field visit. The students were excited to see such huge machine and the system of it.

They raised lot of quires about electrical things which they saw. They were there more than two hours to finish whole distribution system and a gained lot of knowledge from the field visit which they had never seen, heard or taught before. There were things which they could not understand and it was beyond their capacity to capture as the  instruments and things were bit advance one which went over their head, but they could understand something which were very useful for to make their career.  All together they could gain some useful things which they were taught in the classroom only theories.

Mr.  Azaheruddin shaikh the electrician trainer thanked Mr. Amal Krishna Saha on behalf of center in-charge, staffs and the students of Don Bosco Tech Krishnagar for coming there to spent some time with students to teach and clear their doubts about electrical. Especially the whole electrical department students were grateful to him for giving his valuable time to explain each thing to make it easy for them. In return Mr. Amal Krishna Saha also expressed his happiness and wished to come again whenever the time will permit.
