On March 8th, 2020, the DB Tech Krishnanagar Team embarked on a unique endeavor to redefine the celebration of Women's Day. Rather than focusing solely on "Womanhood," they chose to honor the essence of "Humanhood." Led by Mr. Partha Dutta, the Center Coordinator, and Mr. Azheruddin Shaikh, the Electrical Trainer, accompanied by Miss Rupa Saha, F&B Service Steward, and a group of diligent Electrical students, they set out on a meaningful mission.
Their destination was an Old Age Home in Krishnanagar, under the compassionate oversight of the Krishnanagar Diocese. What ensued was not just a customary visit, but a deeply impactful engagement with the residents. Recognizing the universal truth that one can experience orphanhood repeatedly, the team sought to offer solace and companionship to those who might feel abandoned.
Beyond mere material gifts, they brought with them an offering of empathy and understanding. In addition to providing essential daily necessities, the team shared moments of warmth and connection, symbolized by the exchange of sweets and fruits. This act of kindness transcended gender boundaries, resonating with the fundamental dignity and interconnectedness of all individuals.
Through their actions, the DB Tech team not only celebrated Women's Day but also illuminated the timeless value of compassion and human connection. In a world often marked by division and strife, their gesture served as a poignant reminder of the power of empathy to bridge gaps and foster genuine solidarity.
