On 12 August 2025, Don Bosco Tech Society, Kilpauk, hosted a vibrant Independence Day afternoon session on the college grounds, bringing together students and staff in a celebration of patriotism, unity, and youthful energy. The program began with a warm welcome address by Shaen Christian, setting an engaging and respectful tone for the session. This was followed by inspiring speeches delivered by Shiva Prasad on the theme “Unity in Diversity” and Manisha on “Freedom.” Their words highlighted the richness of India’s cultural heritage and emphasized the responsibilities that come with independence, encouraging students to reflect on their role as responsible citizens.
The celebration seamlessly blended reflection with activity as the focus shifted to sports events, infusing the atmosphere with enthusiasm and team spirit. Volleyball, football, and badminton matches were organized under the guidance of Physical Director Jai Infant Rahul, encouraging participation, discipline, and collaboration among students.
