On 15 July 2025, Don Bosco Arts and Science College hosted a vibrant and purpose-driven Youth Skill Development Program from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, bringing together creativity, awareness, and empowerment under one inspiring platform. The event was thoughtfully designed to nurture the talents of young individuals while encouraging them to engage with social and environmental causes.

The program was graced by Jayapalan Raphael as the Chief Guest and Antony Rajiv as the Special Guest, whose presence added significance and encouragement to the occasion. Their words of motivation set the tone for a day filled with enthusiasm, learning, and self-expression.

A series of engaging activities formed the heart of the event, providing students with diverse opportunities to showcase their skills and creativity. The Fruit and Vegetable Carving Competition highlighted artistic precision and innovation, while the Singing Segment allowed participants to express themselves through music. The Drawing Competition became a canvas for imagination and thought, reflecting students’ perspectives on society and environment.

Adding a meaningful dimension to the program, a Plantation Drive and an Awareness Rally were conducted, reinforcing the importance of environmental responsibility and active citizenship. These initiatives encouraged students to step beyond individual achievement and contribute to the well-being of their community and surroundings.

The winners of various competitions were recognized and honored by the Special Guest, celebrating their efforts and inspiring others to strive for excellence. In his address, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of continuous learning, discipline, and using one’s skills for positive societal impact, leaving students with a powerful message for their future.
