Genesis

Don Bosco Tech Society in collaboration with Asha Niketan Welfare Centre (ANWC) started to function as a unit to skill trains thousand and lakh of youth in Madhya Pradesh. They are concerned about Capacity Building, Education, Vocational Training for both rural and urban youth, Women Empowerment, SHG & Micro Finance, Health, Treatment and Care for people living with HIV/AIDS, Livelihood, Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM), Emergency Response and Management. The mission is to restore the human dignity of the oppressed and marginalised through a process of empowerment.

Short Term

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

Guest lecture by Mr. kamal sir was conducted on Feb 3, 2022, at the center. He explained time management and communication behavior through activities, time management, and meditation for mind relaxation, and trainees shared about them and some weak points. Guest lectures help students improve their learning in a more interactive, topic-specific way. These can be very helpful not only for the students but can also contribute to the teacher's knowledge and practices. New Batch Inauguration Function

We have celebrated the inauguration of the first batch of this year on Jan 13, 2022. we have also distributed don Bosco uniforms, T-shirts, and Ex Trainees Certificate by our honorable Archbishop swami of Bhopal, he motivated our new trainees and ex Trainees for skill development and benefits of the skills programs. Our Director also motivated all Trainees for doing job in metro cities and private sectors and told us the power of Skills Concept by a beautiful story. The guest lecture was organised on 26 October 2021 for Electrician Domestic Solutions domain trainees at Don Bosco Tech ANWC centre. Mr Vinis was invited as the guest lecturer who delivered the following points: The importance of Time Management in daily life. Working in with the presence of mind. The significance of doing work in a smart way. Motivational stories that inspire the trainees to pursue their dream job. The trainees were happy to learn these life skills which will benefit for their future.

Visit of Jitendra Singh, MIS Coordinator Rajput

Mr.Jitendra, MIS Coordinator, Visited Asha Niketan Center on 09-Oct-2021. He had a short meeting with Trainers and the Director. After the meeting, he went and met the trainees and discussed the below points with them. Celebrated Gandhi Jayanti 2021

Don Bosco Tech ANWC (Bhopal) Centre celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on 1 October 2021 by conducting a drawing competition for all the trainees. There was a speech on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan to impart the importance of cleanliness in everyone's life.
