Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. As we are living in the new normal, the center’s motive was to engage the students in showcasing their talents. The purpose is to make the students active and to make them interested and attentive during online sessions with the curiosity as to what comes next. In order to do so, an art activity was organized for the students where they could participate and explore their hidden talent, hence every Saturday in the month of October, the students were given a topic to draw. Don Bosco Tech Gayaganga celebrated the inauguration ceremony of Batch 7 & 8 of the ABF Phase II program on January 25, 2020, marking a significant milestone for the institute. NIRME had organized an awareness program which was much needed for our youth to understand the effect of using or consuming tobacco. Our program was held on the 23rd of January 2020 in the Conference Hall around 3:00 pm. Our guest for the program was Sr. Antiona FC who have a mission to prevent tobacco use as the saying goes ‘’ Prevention is better than cure’’.
