Genesis

Don Bosco Tech – Shahgarh located at Balak Yeshu Vidhya Bhawan, which is a unit of The Catholic Diocese of the Madhya Pradesh. The centre is situated in the Shahgarh block (Sagar District) and just three km away from Shahgarh bus stop. Don Bosco Tech in partnership Catholic Diocese of the Madhya Pradesh initiated this centre to implement short term skill training program. Today the unemployment is the biggest issue in and around Shahgarh town and in India. Therefore, Don Bosco Tech decided to intervene in this situation to empower the youth of Shahgarh. We believe that this center will be able to meet the needs of the area to get employment for skill development and livelihood.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.
