Don Bosco Industrial Training Institute (DBITI), Bhadravathi is a part of the world wide network of Don Bosco Institutions and DB Tech, India. It was established in 1996 which provided only Non-formal courses until other formal courses were introduced in 2008. DBITI affiliated to NCVT in 2010. It is involved in bringing about a holistic growth by capacitating the deprived and marginalized youth of Bhadravathi, through imparting technical skills essential for their livelihood and personality development courses for their integral growth and empowerment

Formal vocational training programs are of 6 months - 2 years duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.
