At the invitation of the Bishop of Chickmagalur, Rt. Rev. John Baptist Sequeira, in June 1990, authenticated by the lease of 1.7 acres of land adjacent to the parish Church of Hassan for a period of 99 years. The province began the construction of Don Bosco Technical Institute at Hassan.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

Debate Session

A Debate Session was conducted on 2 June 2026 at Don Bosco Tech, Hassan. The session encouraged trainees to express their opinions, present arguments confidently, and actively participate in discussions. The activity helped the trainees enhance their communication skills, critical thinking abilities, self-confidence, and their ability to present ideas effectively before an audience. It also improved their public speaking, listening, and teamwork skills. The session was interactive and engaging, creating a positive learning environment for all the trainees.

Team Puzzle Activity

On 29-05-2026 Don Bosco Tech, Hassan has successfully conducted the Team Puzzle Activity with our trainees. The students were divided into three teams named Vowels, Common Consonants, and Rare Consonants, with 3 members in each group. A word was written on the board, and participants had to quickly identify and pick up their respective letters from the table as a team. The activity was highly interactive and engaging. Conflict Resolution Roleplay Activity

Today’s session included a fun and engaging chain cut activity that encouraged teamwork, quick thinking, and active participation among the students. We also conducted a confidence-building activity focused on improving communication skills and helping students overcome stage fear. Students actively participated, expressed themselves confidently, and showed great enthusiasm throughout the session. The activities created a positive learning environment and helped students become more interactive, confident, and comfortable speaking in front of others.

Parents meeting for the batch 260139

A Parents' Meeting for Batch ITCCE 260139 was successfully conducted on 12/05/2026 at Don Bosco Tech, Hassan. The meeting focused on trainee attendance, performance, discipline, skill development, and placement opportunities. Parents were updated on their children's progress and were encouraged to support them in achieving their career goals. The interactive session helped strengthen collaboration between parents and the institution for the overall development of the trainees.
