Don Bosco Tech - Yadgir centre envision a positive change in the lives of the unemployed and marginalized youth of the region by providing value based employment-linked and market-driven vocational courses and thus empowers them to become upright citizens.

Short term vocational training programs are of three months' duration, in which the students are given technical inputs prepared in consultation with industry experts and professionals. The course includes on-the-job training, assignments and field visits. Valuable life skills are also integrated into the curriculum through an interactive teaching process.

Paper Tower Building Activity

A paper tower building activity was conducted for the trainees to  develop teamwork, communication, creativity and problem-solving skills. The trainees were divided into teams and given paper to build the tallest and strongest tower within the given time. They shared ideas, together to complete the task. The activity was enjoyable and helped trainees understand the importance of cooperation, coordination, leadership and effective communication.

Artificial Intelligence(AI) Awareness Program Report

An Artificial Intelligence (AI) Awareness Program was conducted on 06-08-2026 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at DBT, yadgir for the ITCCE and DM batch trainees. The session was lead by Mr. John Joshua, HUB Coordinator, Homelink Network, Banglore. Trainees gained awareness of AI concepts, ChatGPT and other  AI tools, prompt writing, ethical AI  usage and practical applications. The interactive session enhanced participants' digital knowledge and encouraged responsible AI use.

Blasting the Balloons Activity

On 3.8.2026, DBT yadgir, conducted the "Blasting the Balloons" activity for ITCCE and DM trainees. Participants were divided into two groups and  protected their own balloons while bursting others' balloons within the group. The activity promoted teamwork, quick thinking, coordination, communication, confidence and healthy competiton. All trainees participated enthusiastically, making the session enjoyable, interactive and a valuable learning experience.

Farewell Ceremony of 56th DM batch

The Farewell Ceremony for the Digital Mitra [DM] 56th batch was held at DBCSA, DB Tech, Yadgir. The programme began with a prayer song, followed by the watering of saplings ceremony. Dignitaries inspired trainees with motivational messages on career growth, discipline, honesty and lifelong learning. Trainees shared their experiences, prizes were distributed and the programme concluded with a vote of thanks, group photo and lunch for all participants.

Plastic free yadgir awareness rally

A Plastic -free yadgir awareness rally was organized on 25-7-26 by the District Legal Services Authority, Yadgir. In association with various government departments, Don Bosco Institutions, DBCSA, DB Tech Yadgir, Shashi Charitable and Educational Trust and NGOs. The rally began at Thatha Seamands Memorial Methodist Church and concluded at the R.T.O. Office. Participants carried placards, displayed banners and raised slongans promoting a plastic-free environment.
